Friday after Thanksgiving is the traditional day for Lincoln Academy alumni to ‘come back to the nest’ to challenge the LA varsity and each other. The games start at 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the Nelson Bailey Gymnasium with the Lady Alumni (all years) versus LA girls varsity.
At the conclusion of this game, there will be the formal induction ceremony for the 2013 members of the Lincoln Academy Sports Hall of Fame.
Inductees are: Nelson Bailey (coach, administrator, deceased); Ralph Bond ’42 (athlete); Matthew Budrow ’01 (athlete, coach, deceased); Jennifer Conley Davis ’82 (athlete); Nan Justice (coach); Austin Lincoln ’44 (athlete); Kyle O’Bryan ’89 (athlete); Otis Page, Jr. ’48 (athlete); Paula Roberts ’75 (athlete, coach); Neil Sprague ’48 (athlete, trustee, deceased).
After the ceremony, the games will resume with the men alumni playing each other in a Black versus White game.
The final game is the LA boys varsity versus Lisbon, starting at 7:30 p.m.
This traditional Thanksgiving weekend event is sponsored by the Lincoln Academy Alumni Council.
The council will sell hot dogs, pizza, snacks and drinks during the games. Proceeds support the LA Alumni Council’s programs and activities, which include Homecoming, the Alumni Banquet, and the Lincoln Log alumni publication.

Admission is $4 for adults, $1 for students. Children age 6 and younger are free, as well as the LA Class of 2013. Tickets for the Class of 2013 will be held at the door.
