Medomak Valley High School held their spring sports awards night June 14. Athletic director Matt Lash had a long list of thank you’s for all those who contributed to a successful spring season. He presented special awards to school secretary Claire Belaire in honor of her help with athletics and her retiring after 22 years, and to trainer Paul Surette.
Lash presented the 2009-2010 MVHS Service Award to his father Neal Lash, for his help with the athletic department, including his dedicated work in creating the new cross country/ nature trail and botanical gardens.
Matt Lash presented Senior Sportsmanship Awards to Alex MacKenzie and Lacy Massengale. “They have put in a lot of time, have competed at a very high level and with class,” Lash said.
