Medomak Valley baseball won two of three games this week to improve to 6-7. The Panthers crushed Rockland 20-6 and Mt.View 18-3, and were mercied in six innings by Winslow.
Taylor Williamson drove in eight runs with three homeruns. Shane Osier knocked in six runs with two triples and a double. Also hitting for the Panthers were Steven Genthner with a triple and 2 singles (1RBI), Dustin Osier a double (1RBI) and John Bartlett a single (1RBI). Hitting for Mt.View were Elkins, Cook and Adkins with a single each.
The game was tied 2-2 after three innings, before the Panthers heated up their bats for five runs in the 4th, three in the 5th and 10 in the 6th to end the game early.
Hitting for Medomak were I. Greenrose with 3 singles, Alex Greenrose a triple and double, Genthner (2RBI), Dillon Reed (2RBI), D. Osier and S. Osier a double and single each, Williamson 2 singles, I. Durkee a double and Kyle Durkee a single.
Hitting for Rockland were Gentry Burch with 2 homeruns and a single, Morrill a double and single, and Meklin, Widdecombe, Perry and Gustin a single each.
Hitting for Medomak were Williamson with a homerun and single, Genthner 2 singles and Reed one. Winslow was led by Michaud with a 3 run homerun in the 3rd, and Camp and Raymond with 2 hits each.
