On Nov. 27, Deputy 1st Class Mark Bridgham responded to a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the Nobleboro area. The complainant said someone had punctured two tires (value: $400) on his vehicle. Further investigation to follow pending new leads.
Nov. 18, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Jefferson was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license, on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Deputy 1st Class Bridgham.
Nov. 18, Jason A. Dingus, 41, of Newcastle, was issued a summons for criminal mischief, on Estey Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
Nov. 18, James F. Batty, 27, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons for possession of usable amount of marijuana, on Waldoboro Road, Jefferson, by Reserve Deputy Simon Yorks.
Nov. 19, David R. Murray, 45, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Nein.
Nov. 23, Jeremy J. Geroux, 37, of Dresden, was issued a summons for permitting unlawful use, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Nov. 24, Jeremiah E. Lucas, 18, of Edgecomb, was issued two uniform summonses and complaints for illegal attachment of registration plates and operating without a license, and a violation summons and complaint for failure to display valid inspection sticker, on Route 27, Boothbay, by Sgt. Nein.
Nov. 24, Brandon T. Cookson, 26, of Boothbay, was issued a summons for operation of a defective vehicle, on Butler Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Nein.
Nov. 20, Kevin S. King, 53, of Waldoboro, was arrested on warrant out of Florida on a fugitive from justice charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Mitkus.
Nov. 23, Anthony S. Winchenbach, 33, of Waldoboro, was arrested for operating under the influence (drugs or combo), on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy 1st Class Bridgham.
Nov. 23, Jeffrey H. Lucas, 39, of Augusta, was arrested for operating after habitual offender revocation, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Detective Scott Hayden.
Nov. 24, Heather L. Brewer, 25, of Boothbay, was arrested on a Wiscasset District Court warrant for failure to appear/failing to pay fines on a previous operating after suspension charge, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Nein.
Nov. 27, Taylor L. Johnston, 19, of Jefferson, was arrested for operating under the influence (drugs or combo); attaching false plates; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, two counts; on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Reserve Deputy Yorks, who was assisted by Deputy Aaron Beck.
Nov. 27, Walter Hezik III, 27, of Boothbay, was arrested for operating under the influence, one prior; operating while license suspended/revoked, three priors; and violating condition of release, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Nov. 27, Adam D. Purington, 35, of Gardiner, was arrested for operating under the influence, no test – one prior and operating vehicle with expired license (over 90 days), on Boothbay Road, Boothbay, by Reserve Deputy Yorks, who was assisted by Deputy Beck.
Nov. 28, Jeremy Rudd, 34, of Boothbay, was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief, on Cliff Road, Boothbay, by Reserve Deputy Yorks.
Nov. 30, Brendon M. McLellan, 29, of Newcastle, was arrested for domestic violence stalking, prior DV, on Cochran Road, Newcastle, by Detective Mitkus.
On Nov. 17, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Gerald V. Flanagan, 59, of Alna. Flanagan was operating his 2004 Mini Cooper northbound when a deer ran out of a wooded area and struck the front of his vehicle. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 18, an accident occurred on Academy Hill in Newcastle involving Abigail E. Berryman, 16, of Bristol, and Catherine R. Roy, 17, of Newcastle. Berryman was making a left turn into a parking spot in her 2010 Volvo 70, failed to clear Roy’s parked 2007 Audi A3, and struck the rear driver’s side quarter panel with the passenger front of her vehicle. Deputy 1st Class Bridgham was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 18, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Somerville involving Stephen M. Joy, 26, of Searsmont. Joy was operating his 2006 Hyundai Tiburon when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 19, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Betty J. Kane, 70, of Alna. Kane was operating her 2012 Toyota Camry southbound when a deer jumped out and struck her vehicle. Deputy Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 19, an accident occurred on Bailey Road in Alna involving John W. Thomas, 73, of Dresden. Thomas was operating his 2004 GMC Envoy when he entered the ditch and struck an embankment. Deputy Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 19, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Christopher S. Williams, 44, of Danbury, Conn. Williams was operating his 2009 Honda Element southbound when a deer entered the roadway in front of him and was struck. Reserve Deputy Yorks was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 23, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Jesse Kirwan, 27, of Windsor. Kirwan was operating his 2003 Dodge northbound when he hit a patch of snow and began sliding. He attempted to steer out of the skid, however, his vehicle went off the road on the left side and came to rest on its side. Deputy Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 24, an accident occurred on Butler Road in Boothbay involving Brandon T. Cookson, 26, of Boothbay, and Andrew J. Nencheck, 31, of Boothbay. Cookson was operating his 2003 Chevrolet S10 southbound and Nencheck was following behind in his 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Cookson pulled over to allow Nencheck to pass by. Cookson then approached Nencheck’s vehicle from the rear and Nencheck slowed abruptly for no apparent reason, causing Cookson to strike Nencheck’s vehicle in the rear. Sgt. Nein was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Timothy Parker, 28, of Boothbay Harbor. Parker was operating his 2006 Hyundai Sonata southbound when, he said, he lost control of his vehicle and went off the roadway on the right side. Deputy Hatch was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Gemma R. Yarlett, 28, of East Northport, N.Y. Yarlett was operating her 2012 Subaru Forester southbound when a deer jumped out in front of her vehicle and was struck. Deputy Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Troy A. Giroux, 46, of Wiscasset, and Richard M. Genthner, 32, of Waldoboro. Both vehicles were traveling northbound when Genthner slowed his 2012 GMC Acadia down to observe a vehicle on the shoulder of the road. Giroux, operating his 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, was also distracted by the vehicle on the shoulder, did not observe Genthner slow down, and, as a result, struck his vehicle from behind. Deputy Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 29, an accident occurred on Route 129 in South Bristol involving Robert M. Eaton, 89, of Southport. Eaton was operating his 2014 Subaru Forester eastbound when a turkey flew out of the woods and into his windshield, causing the windshield to break. Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 29, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Jennifer M. Ward, 28, of Nobleboro. Ward was operating her 2002 Subaru Forester southbound when, she said, she must have fallen asleep and taken her eyes off the roadway for a second. As a result, her vehicle drove off the roadway on the right side. Reserve Deputy Genthner was the investigating officer.
