Join the Carpenter’s Boat Shop on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 as Christina Hassett will share her experience of paddling the Maine Island Trail in the kayak she built during her time as an apprentice at the boat shop in 2012.
As the Downeast regional stewardship manager for the Maine Island Trail Association, Hassett now works to steward and maintain public access to the remarkable islands that make up the trail.
