The South Bristol Ice Harvest
By Marilyn Weatherbee and Ainsley Merrill
This story is about the South Bristol ice harvest. My aunt and uncle run the South Bristol ice harvest every year. My aunt also makes cookies, homemade hot chocolate, and hotdogs. They are really good for a cold day! My dad works for the South Bristol ice harvest. At the ice harvest, they show you how they used to cut ice in the olden days. You should go sometime! Ice Harvest is amazing!
Collecting for the Animal Shelter
By Leisl Qualey
First and second grade is collecting pet stuff for the animal shelter. For example, you can bring toys, clothes for pets to dress up in, and blankets. Please bring in toys and other items for pets to South Bristol School. You can bring in toys or treats. I think you should donate!
A New Gecko
By Penelope McPhee
New geckos are a lot of work, especially babies. You feed them every day. You give them three to eight crickets. We also have a moss hide that you have to mist with a spray bottle. We have to put vitamins into her water. The gecko in the picture is Coconut. I love her so much.
