It is time to prepare for winter bird-feeding before the storm winds start to howl. The birds will appreciate it, and one can enjoy their company. Proceeds from this fundraiser help the local Audubon chapter provide many free educational programs throughout the year.
Choose from these tasty varieties of seed to keep birds well fed this winter: Sunflower meaties (hulled)at $26 for 25 pounds, $45 for 50 pounds; black oil sunflower seed at $16 for 20 pounds, $29 for 40 pounds; thistle (Nyjer) at $10 per 5 pounds; and suet, $2 each.
