Absentee voting is available at the Bristol town office, 1268 Bristol Road, Bristol. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Wednesday, and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday. The deadline for a voter to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, Nov. 3 unless the voter completes a special-circumstances application.
Absentee ballots may also be obtained in the following ways:
– The voter calls the town office at 563-5270 to request a ballot, which is mailed to the voter
– The voter or immediate family member completes an absentee application (available online or at the town office) and either mails it to Town Clerk, P.O. Box 339, Bristol, ME 04539; faxes it to the town clerk at 563-6103; or delivers it to the town office
– The voter requests an absentee ballot online at maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/absenteeballot/index.pl and the ballot is mailed to the voter
– The voter gives written permission for an unrelated third person to obtain the ballot

Election Day voting will be held at the Bristol Town Office, 1268 Bristol Road. The polls will be open 8:00am to 8:00pm. High voter turnout is expected on Election Day and extra parking is available across the street at the Bristol Congregational Church.
Note: The clerk, tax collector and assessing offices will be closed for regular business on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.
