The Twin Villages Business Forum will be held at the Central Lincoln County YMCA this Friday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For this event, the Y will close some areas of the building. Beginning at noon on Thursday, the gymnasium will be closed for setup. On Friday, the day of the event, the gymnasium and group exercise studio will not be available for use. The lounge area, multi-gen space and kitchen will be in use as well until 2 p.m. that day.
On Friday, the walking track, healthy living center, and tennis courts will be open and available for members and visitors to come in to work out; however, group exercise classes and pickup basketball have all been canceled for the day.
Exercise classes and use of all spaces within the Y will once again be available on Saturday.
The CLC YMCA thanks the community for its cooperation and is excited to be able to host this special event at the newly renovated community center.
The forum is a full day of business DIY, interactive workshops, and panel discussions designed to help attendees develop tools for their business, nonprofit, or community organization.
Throughout the day, breakout sessions will cover everything from economic development through collaboration, to the art of the side-hustle, to customer opinion “damage control,” navigating multigenerational company culture, and even the many ways to fund a startup or expansion, some of which may surprise one.
