Outdoors, the first issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2019, will hit newsstands later this month in local copies of The Lincoln County News.
The magazine, now in its second season after a successful creative revamp, will feature insiders’ look at recreational activities in the area. The cover features a photo from “Wind in My Sails,” a firsthand account of learning to sail the Sheepscot River written by LCN contributor Jessica Picard.
The issue also includes reoccurring sponsored features, such as the popular “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” column, “On the Trail in Lincoln County,” and a featured recipe.
Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor, serves as the magazine’s editor. Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the layout and look for Lincoln County Magazine.
The free magazine arrives as an insert in local copies of The Lincoln County News and is available at many area businesses and visitor centers.
Five issues of the magazine will be published from May through September, and each edition has its own theme: Outdoors, Live from Lincoln County, Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, and Live Well.
