Farm and Table, the first issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2018, will hit newsstands with the May 24 edition of The Lincoln County News.
Farm and Table will feature an in-depth look into Somerville’s farming revival as well as a comprehensive guide to craft breweries in Lincoln County. The issue also introduces reoccurring features, such as the “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” column, a portfolio from a local artist, a coloring page, and much more.
For 13 years, Lincoln County Magazine has been a marquee product for Lincoln County Publishing Co., which also prints The Lincoln County News. Four issues of the magazine were released each summer alongside the Lincoln County Summer Season Activities Guide.
This year, the magazine has undergone a complete revamp, from design and layout to advertising opportunities and editorial content.
Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor, serves as the magazine’s editor. Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the layout and look for Lincoln County Magazine.
The free magazine arrives as an insert in local copies of The Lincoln County News and is available at many area businesses and visitor centers. Five issues of the magazine will be published from May through September, and each edition has its own theme: Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, Live from Lincoln County, Outdoors, and Live Well.
