Live from Lincoln County, the second issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2019, will hit newsstands in June with local copies of The Lincoln County News.
The magazine, now in its second season after a successful creative revamp, will highlight live entertainment in the region. The cover features a photo from “Drivers, start your engines!” a feature on the Wiscasset Speedway’s celebration of its 50th year, written by LCN contributor Jessica Picard.
The issue also includes reoccurring sponsored features, such as the popular “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” column, “On the Trail in Lincoln County,” and a featured recipe. This edition also introduces “Artist Q&A,” which will profile local artists of all mediums.
Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor, serves as the magazine’s editor. Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the look and layout for Lincoln County Magazine.
The free magazine arrives as an insert in local copies of The Lincoln County News and is available at many area businesses and visitor centers.
Five issues of the magazine will be published from May through September, and each edition has its own theme: Outdoors, Live from Lincoln County, Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, and Live Well.
Outdoors, the first issue of the 2019 Lincoln County Magazine season, was included in the May 23 edition of The Lincoln County News.
