Those traveling through Damariscotta from Thursday, Oct. 10 through Monday, Oct. 14 should be aware of the following:
The giant pumpkins will be placed at various locations on Main Street from approximately 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10. There will likely be traffic delays, especially downtown, during this time.
Artists will be working on the pumpkins Friday, Oct. 11 on Main Street sidewalks and around the area.
On Saturday, Oct. 12, Main Street will be closed through downtown, starting at around noon and continuing until about 6 p.m., for the Giant Pumpkin Parade.
On Monday, Oct. 14, traffic will likely be heavy on Main Street during the pumpkin-boat regatta that starts at noon.
