The last day to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance related to the severe winter storms Jan. 9 and 13 is Monday, May 20.
Lincoln County homeowners and renters with uninsured losses from the storms and flooding may be eligible for financial assistance for temporary lodging, basic home repairs, personal property losses, and other uninsured disaster-related expenses. More than $2.3 million has been approved to date for more than 511 households.
To apply, call toll-free, 800-621-3362, go to disasterassistance.gov, download the FEMA app, or visit a disaster recovery center. To locate the nearest disaster recovery center go to fema.gov/drc.
