The Ecumenical Food Pantry in Newcastle is again packing and distributing Thanksgiving food baskets to families in Alna, Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta, Dresden, Newcastle, Nobleboro, South Bristol, Waldoboro, and Whitefield. An application to receive one must be submitted to one’s town hall no later than Tuesday, Nov. 7. Baskets will be distributed through the town offices on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Monetary donations to support this effort are most welcome and can be made by sending a check to the Ecumenical Food Pantry, P.O. Box 46, Newcastle, ME 04553. Donations may also be made online at newcastlefoodpantry.org.
