We are requesting that all residents with mailboxes number both sides of their mailboxes. If we are responding to a call from the other end of the street and cannot see a house number, it could cost precious minutes. Also, make sure you have 3-inch reflective numbers visible from the street.
July 7: Route 1 at Route 27. Two-vehicle accident. One vehicle still in roadway, other vehicle in ditch. Checked passengers for injuries, provided traffic control. Two injuries, one patient transported to hospital by ambulance. Both vehicles towed from scene.
July 13: Cross Point Road, medical. Patient complained of abdominal pain. Took vitals, gave report to ambulance crew, cleared.
July 14: Route 27 near Cross Road. Motor-vehicle accident involving motorcycle reported. Arrived on scene. Report was unfounded. Cleared.
July 18: Route 1. Medical, 3-year-old ran into door. Had large contusion on her forehead. Child transported by ambulance to hospital.
July 18: Route 1. Noticed large fire while driving by. Discovered people burning trash. Told people not to burn trash, and that if they are going to burn brush, they need a permit.
July 20: Parsons Point Road. Medical. Patient nauseous, weak, not feeling well. Took vitals, relayed information to ambulance crew, provided lift assist, cleared.
July 21: Off Route 27. Medical. Patient had fallen out of bed, wife and daughter could not get him off floor. Assisted ambulance crew putting him back in bed. No transport.
July 26: River Road. Tree down on road. Removed tree from road.
July 27: Cochran Road. Heard explosion, investigated. Person was making fireworks. Advised him it was illegal and told him not to do it anymore.
July 28: McKay Road. Medical. Patient complained of abdominal pain, possible gall bladder attack. Patient transported by ambulance to hospital.
July 29: Route 1. Motor-vehicle accident. Property damage only, vehicles out of roadway. Cleared.
July 29: Route 1 at Route 27. Motor-vehicle accident, two vehicles, no injuries. Performed traffic control, cleared.
July 29: Cross Point Road. Patient fell, complained of shoulder and hip pain. No transport.
July 30: Route 1. Motor-vehicle accident, two vehicles, ambulance on scene when we arrived. Assisted with patient care, provided traffic control, cleaned up road.
