Jeffrey Evangelos
Former Rep. Jeffrey Evangelos, independent candidate for the Maine House of Representatives in District 91, has earned an A+ rating from the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine. District 91 encompasses the towns of Washington, Waldoboro, Friendship, and west Union.
In a letter received by the candidate, the alliance said that he had received his rating because of his past voting record and his “commitment to our outdoor heritage.” The letter continued that the Sportman’s Alliance of Maine “awarded your candidacy to the Maine Legislature our highest grade of A+. You should be very proud of the A+ grade. It indicates to our members and other sportsmen and women that you are a good choice for them. We will publicize your grade on our website, share it with the press, and send a direct mailer to all SAM members.”
Evangelos said he “was very gratified to receive the high rating. It means a lot to me to receive it, especially since I led the effort in 2016 to put an end to the Warden Service’s undercover entrapment operations.”
