St. Giles’ Episcopal Church, located at 72 Gardiner Road (Route 126) in Jefferson, will host the last of its free 2017 wintertime suppers for Midcoast residents at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 11. Featured will be Mexican enchiladas, quesadillas, fried rice, refried beans, and salsa, along with chips and a beverage.
St. Giles’ Episcopal Church’s response to the challenge of winter in Maine is to offer one free supper per month during the season. All are invited for simple, hearty fare that is served in the parish hall. No reservations are needed. Anyone who could use a hot meal should consider themselves invited. Please pass the word!
