In respect for the victims of the shooting in Annapolis, Md. on June 28, Gov. Paul R. LePage has directed the United States flag and the State of Maine flag be flown at half staff immediately until sunset this evening, Tuesday, July 3.
“Ann and I send our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and all those who have been affected by this tragedy,” said LePage.
President Donald J. Trump issued a proclamation directing flags to half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims.
