In respect for the victims of the recent tragic school shooting in Texas, Gov. Paul R. LePage has directed the United States flag and the State of Maine flag be flown at half staff immediately until sunset on May 22.
“Ann and I are tremendously saddened by the shooting at the Santa Fe High School in Texas,” said LePage. “We send our deepest condolences to the students, teachers, and families who have been affected by this tragedy.”
President Donald J. Trump issued a proclamation directing flags to half staff as a mark of respect for the victims of the tragedy in Texas.
