Post offices across Maine will be open for business on Monday, Dec. 31. However, some may have earlier closings or schedules for collection of blue boxes on the street. Check with any local office for details.
Post offices will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1 as U.S. Postal Service employees ring in the new year.
While only Priority Express and other overnight committed packages will be delivered on Tuesday, full retail and delivery operations will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
