The Twin Villages Business Forum returns to Lincoln County Friday, Sept. 28. The day-long event will take place in the newly renovated Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta.
While last year’s forum offered a glimpse into the breadth and depth of local talent finding success in the Twin Villages, this year’s event will have more of a DIY focus. Attendees will engage in interactive workshops and work with panelists to develop tools they can take back to their own businesses, nonprofits, or community organizations.
The forum will kick off with a 90-minute session covering the many sides of funds and financing for businesses and organizations, some of which may even surprise one.
Throughout the day, breakout sessions will cover everything from economic development to collaboration, the art of the side-hustle, customer opinion “damage control,” and navigating multigenerational company culture.
The Twin Villages Business Forum is a collaborative effort put on by the Damariscotta-Newcastle Rotary Club, the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce, the Neighborhood Economy Alliance, Tidewater Telecom, the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the towns of Damariscotta and Newcastle.
