The Lincoln County News has unveiled an improved business directory at lcnme.com.
The business directory replaces the Local Online section of the website, and offers the most comprehensive listing of businesses and organizations that operate within Lincoln County.
The newly designed directory is fully responsive, meaning the screen automatically adjusts to the size of the reader’s screen, whether a desktop computer, a smartphone, or a tablet.
The easy-to-use search feature allows readers to filter results by the type of business, organization, or service they are looking for, as well as to specify which town they wish to search in.
Businesses, individuals, and organizations have a choice of three options for how they would like to appear in the directory.
The first option is a free listing, which includes the business or organization’s name with its address and phone number. The listing can appear in up to four of the 150 categories.
The second level, the basic package, includes the same features as a free listing, as well as an email address, a link to the business’s website, an image, hours of operation, and a sentence describing the business. The cost for the basic package is $60 per year.
The third option is the premium package. For $180 per year, a business receives premium placement in the listings, a customized webpage in the business directory, a map to the business, and links to all of the company’s social media accounts.
The business directory was designed and built by Amber Clark, graphic designer and website administrator. Listings were compiled by Lincoln County Publishing Co. employees Sarah Caton, Megan Hyson, Kathy Lizotte, and Jill Rice.
