Live from Lincoln County, the third issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2018, will make its debut July 5.
The issue will include features by the editorial staff of The Lincoln County News about local music, as well as recurring features, such as the “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” and “On The Trail” columns, a portfolio from a local artist, and a coloring page.
LCN contributor John Maguire penned both features for this edition, which celebrate two of the county’s premier music venues, the Little Brown Church, in Round Pond, and The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor.
“If you want to go see some top-notch live music, you can’t go wrong with either of these venues,” said Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor and the magazine’s editor. “John Maguire did a great job capturing the energy, excitement, and history of both of these venues in a way that readers are sure to enjoy.”
Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the layout and look for Lincoln County Magazine.
In addition to appearing in local copies of The Lincoln County News, Lincoln County Magazine will be available at many area businesses and visitor centers.
Five issues of the magazine will be published from May through September, and each edition has its own theme: Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, Live from Lincoln County, Outdoors, and Live Well.
Both Farm and Table and Made in Lincoln County are in distribution and will be available on lcnme.com in the upcoming weeks.
