Live Well, the fifth and final issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2018, will make its debut Aug. 29.
The issue will include features by the editorial staff of The Lincoln County News about living a happy, healthy life, as well as recurring features, such as the “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” and “On The Trail in Lincoln County” columns, a portfolio from a local artist, and a coloring page.
Lincoln County News reporter Jessica Picard writes about the newly expanded Central Lincoln County YMCA in her article “The Blossoming of a Community Center.” Picard’s second feature, “A Healing Retreat,” focuses on Monhegan Wellness, a yoga-and-wellness venue on the island.
LCN contributor John Maguire’s feature “Homeward Bound” highlights the Homeward Bound Hospice Choir.
Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor, serves as the editor for Lincoln County Magazine. Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the layout and look for the publication.
In addition to being inserted in local copies of The Lincoln County News, Lincoln County Magazine is available at many area businesses and visitor centers.
Five issues of the magazine are being published from May through August, each with its own theme: Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, Live from Lincoln County, Outdoors, and Live Well.
Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, Live from Lincoln County, and Outdoors are available now, and the first two editions are available online at lcnme.com/category/lincoln-county-magazine.
