State Rep. Jeffrey Evangelos, I-Friendship, testified at a hearing before the Maine Public Utilities Commission on July 22, arguing against a rate increase for Central Maine Power Co. and demanding refunds for overcharged ratepayers.
Evangelos, who represents Friendship, part of Union, Waldoboro, and Washington, made a forceful appeal on behalf of his constituents to the PUC at its headquarters in Hallowell.
