In celebration of Thanksgiving, post offices across the state of Maine will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and there will be no mail delivery. Full delivery and window operations will resume on Friday, Nov. 24.
The U.S. Postal Service’s online post office is open around the clock, however, and there are conveniently located self-service kiosks to handle most retail and shipping needs.
To order stamps or packing and shipping supplies, go to store.usps.com/store. To find the nearest self-service kiosk, go to tools.usps.com/go/POLocatorAction!input.action.
Go to usps.com — your one stop for all of your postal needs 24/7.
To apply for a career with the U.S. Postal Service, go to usps.com/employment.
The U.S. Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
