MIKA Great Salt Bay in Damariscotta would like to announce its Students of the Month for February.
For the MIKA Dragon Class, which is for karate students from ages 4-7, the winner is Ryan Parsons. Ryan has worked very hard on his skills and always has a smile on his face. Congratulations, Ryan!
For The Karate Kids and higher class – all students from age 7 up – the winner is Dylan Lomas. Dylan has been in the MIKA karate family for about 4 years. He has been a dedicated student and recently became a blue belt at only 8 ½ years old. Congratulations, Dylan!
As a bonus, students chosen as Student of the Month receive a gold star patch for their karate gi and get to wear a red, white, and blue karate belt for the month.
