Outdoors, the fourth issue of Lincoln County Magazine for 2018, will make its debut July 25.
The issue will include features by the editorial staff of The Lincoln County News about outdoor activities in the local area, as well as reccurring features, such as the “50 Years Ago in Lincoln County” and “On The Trail in Lincoln County” columns, a portfolio from a local artist, and a coloring page.
LCN contributor John Maguire’s feature “A Quiet Adventure” is a firsthand account of his recent experience kayaking with the Pemaquid Watershed Association Paddlers. Sarah Caton, who pens the “Paws for Thought” column for The Lincoln County News, gives readers tips about where they can hike with their canine pals.
Christine LaPado-Breglia, the newspaper’s arts and lifestyle editor and the magazine’s editor, wrote the final feature for this edition, about Tops’l Farm, an 83-acre glamping compound in Waldoboro.
Megan Hyson, graphic designer for The Lincoln County News, oversees the layout and look for Lincoln County Magazine.
In addition to appearing in local copies of The Lincoln County News, Lincoln County Magazine is available at many area businesses and visitor centers.
Five issues of the magazine are being published from May through September, and each edition has its own theme: Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, Live from Lincoln County, Outdoors, and Live Well.
Farm and Table, Made in Lincoln County, and Live from Lincoln County are available now, and the first two editions are available online at lcnme.com.
