To encourage more interest in journalism careers by Maine students, the Maine Press Association has expanded eligibility for its annual student scholarship and is readvertising the scholarship opportunity for a second round in 2024.
The Maine Press Association is now taking scholarship applications from any year undergraduate college student who plans to pursue a career in journalism (up to $2,000) and from high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in journalism (up to $1,000).
