There has been a change to the schedule for the artist talks this week during the Maine Coast Stone Symposium at Boothbay Railway Village in Boothbay Harbor. Due to a family emergency, Mark Herrington has to be away for a few days. The schedule for the talks has switched to Andreas von Huene speaking on Tuesday, Aug. 15. Herrington will join Dick Alden for Thursday evening, Aug. 17. Both talks will take place at 7 p.m. inside the 1847 Boothbay Town Hall at Boothbay Railway Village, 586 Wiscasset Road, Wiscasset. Admission to the talks is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. For descriptions of both illustrated programs as well as bios and photographs of works by each sculptor, go to railwayvillage.org.
