The Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance is committed to always remembering those in the fire service and emergency medical services who have taken their own lives.
On May 17, at 9 p.m., in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the alliance is asking fire and EMS organizations to place a rig or rigs on their driveway and turn on their emergency lights for one minute to express support for all the families that have suffered a loss.
Community members are welcome to join at their local participating location or to stand in their own driveway and light a candle to remember a loved one.
The Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance asks participating organizations to take photos or video and send it to info@ffbha.org to share this support with families.
