FARMS Community Kitchen will host four wonderful cooking classes that will highlight this season’s bounty. Join FARMS Youth Program Director Karen Kleinkopf for these fun, informative, hands-on classes. One can expand one’s repertoire with new recipes to use in the kitchen. Kleinkopf brings a passion for healthy cooking to her classes, which focus on locally grown, nutrient-dense vegetables.
September classes are as follows:
Monday, Sept. 18 – “Wonderful Salads”
Tuesday, Sept. 19 – “Delicious Kale Recipes”
Tuesday, Sept. 26 – “Scrumptious Nutritious Breakfasts”
Wednesday, Sept. 27 – “Easy, Satisfying Dinners”
Classes will run from 10 a.m. to noon and cost $10 each. To register, leave a message at 563-1161 or email info@mefarms.org. All classes will be held in the FARMS Community Kitchen, 323 Main St., Damariscotta, above Rising Tide Community Market.
