Although the weather may not act like it sometimes, the holiday season is right around the corner, and preparations are already underway for the 2019 Villages of Light celebration in Damariscotta and Newcastle.
The Villages of Light Committee plans to build on the successes of the previous two years for this year’s celebration on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The committee is asking for assistance to locate a couple of 20-foot tall trees to be located in the Twin Villages. Anyone who might have a tree that fits the bill is encouraged to contact John Roberts at 563-3171.
