The Wells-Hussey American Legion post in Damariscotta was once again the host of the annual U.S. Marine Corps birthday Friday, Nov. 10. Forty-two guests outnumbered the 10 Marines for a potluck dinner and the annual cake. The message from the post’s commandant was read by Ralph Eugley Jr. The cake was cut this year by Gary Pitcher and served to the youngest Marine, Adam Fenderson, who served the oldest Marine, Paul Oshirak. A good time was had by all and thank you to all for attending.
