The Waldoborough Historical Society’s “Meals for a Month” raffle is on! Tickets for a month of meals, the value of which is over $400, are $5, or five for $20, and can be purchased at the Waldoboro Community Pharmacy, the Waldoborough Historical Society Museum on weekends, Bremen Road School indoor yard sales, society trustees, and the farmers market, or call Bill Maxwell at 790-1307 or Jean Lawrence at 832-4421.
The raffle’s winning ticket will be pulled on Dec. 15. The raffle benefits the upkeep of the museum and future projects.
The society will hold indoor yard sales at the Bremen Road West Waldoboro School/Community Club building on Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29, from 8 a.m. to noon. Come by to look over the items; bring a bag and Maxwell will have a deal for everyone. The society will be holding a blowout sale at the end of October; watch for more information in this paper.
The Waldoborough Historical Society is working hard to fund projects to repair the school and to complete a drainage project at the museum. It deeply appreciates the support of the community for these projects.
