Works of oil and pastel artist Paula Heiser, of Bristol, will be on display at Rising Tide Community Market at 323 Main St., Damariscotta from Sunday, April 2 through Saturday, April 29.
Heiser is a colorist who paints mainly in the expressionist style. Her vivid paintings are her way of interpreting the glorious colors she sees in nature. Inspiration comes from walking the cliffs and trails of Midcoast Maine with her four golden retrievers.
An artist’s reception and wine tasting will be held Friday, April 7 from 4 to 6 p.m.
