ArtWalk Waldoboro celebrates its fifth year anniversary with town-wide celebrations during its first event of the 2019 season on Saturday, June 8, 4-7 p.m. Participating venues this year include art studios, galleries, and other businesses, all with their own unique celebration plans.
Exciting and interesting events are on tap for the June 8 ArtWalk Waldoboro: the Tidemark Gallery + Cafe is showing new paintings by Doug Frati; the Waldo Theatre hosts a performance by the music duo Joe and Lindsay Cough and offers tours of the theater; the Philippe Guillerm Gallery is opening its new show “Let’s Think About Our Planet – An Artist’s View and Sensitivity on Found Driftwood”; the Heywood Gallery is featuring paintings of American realist Anne Heywood and offering collectors a chance in a drawing for a $200 gift certificate; the Waldoborough Historical Society has historical art pieces and new photos of the German Church on display; Barstow Farms Country Store includes ArtWalk Crab Dip, ArtWalk Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, and ArtWalk Barstow Burgers on its menu. Artist Pam Cabanas, Morse’s Sauerkraut, Old Point Comfort, Medomak Arts Project, Moody’s Diner, the BugTussle Annex, and the Narrows Tavern are also ArtWalk Waldoboro participants.
ArtWalk Waldoboro is held every second Saturday of the month from 4-7 p.m., from June to October.
