People enjoy contra-dancing.
People are invited to come to the contra dance on Friday, Nov. 9 in the Damariscotta Baptist Church’s fellowship hall, at the corner of Main Street and Bristol Road. This dance of the fall/winter season will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. All dances are taught, and dancers of all ages and experience are welcome. Oyster Creek Fiddlers and Friends will be providing the music. Donations are welcome (suggested: $5, adults; $10, family). All proceeds will go to benefit Friends of Music Education at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta.
