Members of the public are invited to come hear Kay Hardy Campbell discuss her first novel and sign books on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson Public Library, located in the Jefferson Village School, 48 Washington Road, Jefferson.
Campbell has written “A Caravan of Brides,” a novel that looks at Saudi Arabian culture through the eyes of two women who become unlikely friends. The author lived in Saudi Arabia for seven years and now lives in Jefferson.
This event is open to the public and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 549-7491 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. In case of inclement weather, if the Jefferson Village School is closed, the library will be closed and the reading will be rescheduled.
