The public is invited to enjoy an evening of art with Joan Atkinson during Damariscotta-Newcastle ArtWalk on Friday, August 18 from 4-7 p.m. She is a photographer with an exquisite eye for capturing light and mood and evoking a sense of stillness, a reminder that little moments are often overlooked. Atkinson’s images of the Pemaquid Peninsula, nature, and the inside of seaside homes will inspire one to pause, reflect, and look a little deeper into the beautiful Midcoast surroundings.
