The month of September will feature watercolors by Kerstin Chapman at the Bristol Area Library.
Residing in New Harbor, Chapman chooses subjects from the nearby area: birds, landscapes, buildings, etc. She paints using bright colors to bring forth the feel of the crisp atmosphere so evident in Maine.
Most paintings are offered for sale by contacting the artist through the library.
Located at the corner of Old County Road and Route 130, the library is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and Thursdays 2-6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon.
