Liberty Graphics, an environmentally conscious T-shirt printer, is currently accepting art submissions to its 22nd annual $1,000 art scholarship contest. All high school seniors residing in Maine are invited to submit original works that reflect on the theme of “Art and our Natural Environment.”
Art entries must be traditional two-dimensional media, reflecting on Maine’s natural environment. Photography, sculpture, and computer-generated work cannot be considered.
Submissions must be postmarked by Monday, March 18. Each student may submit more than one piece of work.
Entry forms are available through high school art teachers or by visiting the “About Liberty Graphics” page at lgtees.com.
For more information, contact jay@lgtees.com or call 589-4596 weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The award is intended to aid and encourage students in the pursuit of their artistic experiences and learning.
The winner, and the art teacher of the winner, will be announced in early April.
Art will be returned to the artist’s home in late April.
