Eleven Lincoln Academy musicians participated in the All State Music Festival at the University of Maine on Thursday through Saturday, May 16-18.
After auditioning and being accepted to the festival in the fall, musicians learned their assigned music on their own. During the festival they came together with high school musicians from all over Maine for an intensive two and a half days of rehearsal before performing a concert on Saturday, May 18.
The Lincoln Academy 2024 All-State musicians are:
Orchestra: Jayden Brown, Alec Buckley, and Noa Burchesky.
Band: Tristan Gammon and Maggie Sawyer.
Chorus: Felix Cunningham, Kayla Cruz, Violet Holbrook, Mariana Janik, Anderson Pierpan, and Sophia Scott.
