Oil paintings by Carolyn Gabbe, of Nobleboro, are on display this month at Medomak Arts, 13 Friendship St., Waldoboro. Birds, landscapes, and still-life arrangements adorn her beautifully rendered canvases. The show was featured during ArtWalk Waldoboro on Oct. 14 and will continue throughout the month.
Friday, Oct. 20 from 6-8 pm will be another live music night with Nancy and Friends. Snacks are included and drinks will be available.
On Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m., Marcia Kimpton will host an herbal tea-making workshop followed by a tea party. People can come and learn to make a blend called Chickadee Tree Tea to take home to drink and give as a gift. A $5 donation includes all materials (bring a pint container). Tuesday, Oct. 24 welcomes the opening of Susan Price’s bakery in the gallery area.
On Thursday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m., Libbie Winslow will guide an acrylic painting session of a seasonal scene. A $20 suggested donation is asked, with all supplies included.
