St. Giles’ Episcopal Church in Jefferson will host a kids version of the popular Paint Nite Maine program, but it will take place not at night but rather from noon-2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 19.
The kids will be taught how to paint their version of the same Halloween cat and pumpkin image and will have loads of fun in the process. All materials and instruction are provided by Paint Nite Maine, and each painter will leave with a finished canvas. Snacks will be available.
The cost for the class is $20 per child or $35 for two kids. Payment is due at the door. For reservations, call 549-7872 and leave name, number of children attending, and a phone number where one can be reached. Space is limited; reserve soon.
Partial proceeds of the event will go to benefit the St. Giles’ backpack program, which each year gathers backpacks filled with school supplies to donate to Jefferson, Whitefield, and Windsor schools.
St. Giles’ Episcopal Church is located at 72 Gardiner Road in Jefferson.
