Award-winning author Diane B. Saxton will hold a book-signing at Sherman’s Maine Coast Book Shop, 158 Main St., Damariscotta on Thursday, Aug. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.
In her book “Peregrine Island,” Saxton interweaves the lives of three generations of women, one valuable painting, the artist who created it, and those who would do anything to possess it – even kill. Lush with sensory details, this psychologically complex mystery novel is set on an island in Long Island Sound.
Saxton divides her time between New York City and the Berkshires, where she lives with her husband, dogs, and horses.
