Peter Stuart has been the musical director for the MVHS fall musical since 2001. With the retirement of former director Nancy Durgin, this year’s show of “Shrek the Musical” is his first endeavor into the theatrical aspect of the production.
“Although Nancy is a hard act to follow, my decision to step into this role was based on my confidence in the talent and dedication of these students and the production team,” Stuart said. This team consists of Maida Cordero, technical director Matthew Kopishke, costume director Kerry Weber, and choreographer Dixie Weisman. Stuart would also like to thank the many community members that donate their time and money to create costumes, build sets, and to assist with makeup and hair and the many other aspects of this show.
