Tiny wrapped gifts for holiday trees by Justine Kefauver, assemblage by Barbara Bean, oils by Cecelia Cox, carvings by John D. McKinley, and miniature oils by Will Kefauver, are just some of the work available at the Kefauver Studio & Gallery.
Kefauver Studio & Gallery in Damariscotta is offering an early holiday gift to all visitors of 15 percent of every item in the gallery from Dec. 7-9. “The Little Holiday Show” features exciting new items and artwork by Will Kefauver and 14 guest artists. There is artwork to suit every budget.
The tiny, wrapped holiday packages by artist Justine Kefauver are perfect for hanging on a holiday tree or around the neck of a bottle of holiday cheer. The packages come in small, medium, or large sizes, and feature lace, silk ribbons, and patterned paper.
There are decorative bird carvings by the late John D. McKinley. Visitors will find hand-carved and painted birds including an American woodcock, shoveler, bufflehead, pintail, prothonotary warbler, and Northern cardinal.
Barbara Bean’s assemblages are unique and intriguing. She has several pieces that appeal to the eye and provoke lively conversations. They have been a welcome addition to the gallery this season, and a favorite with visitors.
Cecilia Cox’s oil still life paintings are stunning. The compositions are arresting and the colors are soft and suffused with light. These paintings would make a spectacular gift.
In addition to work by these three artists, visitors will find work by Jane Bowman, Sandy Harper, Nicole Karr, Jan Kilburn, Lisa Kyle, Kathy Lane, Sally Loughridge, DiTa Ondek, Scott See, and Barbara Vanderbilt.
