Three-week acrylic painting sessions starting Thursday, April 27 are now being scheduled at Valerie Greene Studio in Waldoboro, with two time slots available. Having taught beginning art classes for several years, Greene will break down the process to help students get past that “I can’t paint” feeling. The first session is April 27-May 11, at either 10 a.m. to noon or from 6:30-8:30 p.m., with all supplies provided for $95.
Also being scheduled are several encaustic workshops for beginners. These will start on Saturday, April 15. Learn the basics in painting with the encaustic medium with product and safety information and various application techniques.
